Distortion Measurements at High Signal Amplitudes

Some hydrophones produce low distortion at low signal amplitudes, but greater distortion when exposed to greater signal amplitudes. GeoSpectrum’s high-speed hydrophone calibrator can be equipped to measure distortion, sensitivity and capacitance as a function of signal amplitude up to 100 mbar rms. The measurements can also be done as a function of depth and temperature.
